Before university, he studied at Groupe Scolaire St Joseph KABGAYI, where he specialized in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (2016–2018), laying a strong foundation for his engineering career. Since January 2024, he has been working as a Research Assistant, Grant Writer, and Operator at Hello Renewables Ltd, where he contributes to renewable energy projects and supports research funding efforts. In 2023, he completed an internship at the African Centre of Excellence for Energy and Sustainable Development (ACEESD), where he enhanced his knowledge of energy systems and sustainable practices. Prior to this, Homère worked as a Stock/Sales Manager at Schillo Phones in Goma, DRC, gaining management experience and a better understanding of business operations. These experiences have shaped him into a well-rounded professional, capable of tackling energy-related challenges while also refining his leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities. His work reflects his dedication to sustainable development and innovation in the energy sector.

He is also passionate about solar energy and has participated in various workshops, including those under the GREATER project funded by EnREHD Erasmus+.
