Tomáš Mimra is a biomedical engineer and Ph.D. researcher specializing in technical cybernetics and biomedical engineering, with a strong focus on audiology-oriented medical technologies. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Technology and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, where he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Technical Cybernetics. Professionally, he serves as a biomedical and clinical engineer at Ostrava University Hospital, combining clinical practice with applied research and academic supervision. His research interests span ENT phoniatrics, cochlear implantation, hearing aids, auditory evoked potentials, biomedical sensors, EEG and fNIRS-based diagnostics, and intelligent signal analysis. He has contributed to international peer-reviewed journals and IEEE-indexed conferences and is actively involved in national biomedical engineering projects.  In addition to research, he has teaching experience across multiple biomedical engineering courses and has supervised several defended bachelor’s theses. His work demonstrates a strong commitment to translational biomedical research, clinical innovation, and the development of advanced diagnostic and training technologies in modern healthcare systems.

Mohammed Berka is a Full Professor of Telecommunications and Electrical Engineering with extensive academic and research experience in microwave engineering and electromagnetic systems. He holds a State Engineering degree in Electronics, a Master’s degree in Signal and Telecommunications Systems, a PhD in Telecommunications, and an Habilitation to Direct Research (HDR), reflecting a strong and progressive academic background. His career spans nearly two decades of university teaching, supervision, and research leadership, with steady academic promotions culminating in Full Professorship. His research interests focus on metamaterials, metasurfaces, microwave and millimeter-wave filters, antennas, absorbers, MIMO systems, electromagnetic wave propagation, and their applications in wireless communications, 5G, satellite systems, sensing, renewable energy, and photovoltaic optimization. He has contributed to numerous national and international research projects and served in key academic leadership roles. Professor Berka has authored and co-authored 41 peer-reviewed publications, several international conference papers, book chapters, and scholarly books published by recognized academic publishers. His scientific output has achieved an h-index of 7, with 224 citations, reflecting sustained research impact in electromagnetics and microwave engineering. His work has received international recognition through high-impact journal publications, conference invitations, and technical committee memberships, positioning him as an active contributor to advanced telecommunication research and innovation.

Prof. Suk-Ju Kang is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Sogang University, Seoul, Korea, specializing in visual computing, computer vision, and artificial intelligence. His research spans image synthesis and restoration, real-time 2D/3D human and hand pose estimation, and industrial AI applications such as anomaly detection and remaining useful life prediction. Prior to joining Sogang University in 2015, he served as Assistant Professor at Dong-A University and worked as a Senior Research Engineer at LG Display, contributing to advanced display technologies. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from POSTECH under the supervision of Dr. Young Hwan Kim, and his B.S. in Electronic Engineering from Sogang University. Prof. Kang has authored over 209 peer-reviewed publications, which have collectively garnered over 2,143 citations with an h-index of 25, reflecting his global research impact. He has been recognized with numerous honors, including the 2025 Haedong Best Paper Award, multiple Samsung Best Paper Awards (2023, 2024), the 2022 Merck Young Scientist Award, and the 2020 Young Researcher Award from The Korean Institute of Broadcast and Media Engineers.
