Milad Shirvaliloo holds an MD and an MBA in Health Sciences and is an aspiring physician-researcher with over six years of investigative experience in epigenetics, cancer biology and pulmonary medicine. Dr Olga A. Tarasova is a bioinformatician and computational chemist whose research bridges cheminformatics, machine-learning and virus–host interaction modelling. She gained her M.S. in Medical Cybernetics and PhD in Bioinformatics from the Institute of Biomedical Chemistry (Moscow, Russia). Since then, she has progressed through roles from junior researcher to senior researcher now leading advanced computational modelling studies of antiviral compounds and virus–host interplay (e.g., at the Laboratory of Structure-Based Drug Design and recently heading the Laboratory of Big Data Analysis in Digital Pharmacology at IBMC). Her research interests include (Q)SAR/QSPR modelling, fragment-based drug design, molecular docking, text/data mining and machine-learning for prediction of metabolic, toxicity and viral-resistance profiles. Among her honours: the First-Degree Prize for Best Investigation at the Young Scientists Forum of the Russian Academy of Sciences for her work on HIV–host interactions. Dr Tarasova combines rigorous methodological development with applied antiviral and host-interaction modelling, making her a strong contributor to computational drug-discovery and virology informatics.

Dr. Mahdi Sadeghi Pour Marvi is a molecular and soil microbiologist whose research spans microbial ecology, soil biology, genomics and ecosystem biodiversity. He earned his Ph.D. in Soil Biology & Biotechnology from the University of Tehran, following an M.Sc. in Soil Science from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. Over more than a decade of academic work, he has investigated the biodiversity and functional capabilities (e.g. sulfur oxidation) of native chemolithotrophic microorganisms in agricultural and mining soils, published on the diversity of sulfur-oxidizing bacteria in copper mine ecosystems, and studied plant-microbe interactions under stress conditions. His methodological skills include molecular techniques (DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, DGGE), bioinformatics (phylogenetics, sequence alignment), and statistical & GIS modeling (SAS, SPSS, PAST, ArcGIS).  He has 9- citations, h-index-1, to date, with ongoing research contributions in microbial and soil ecology.  In summary, Dr. Sadeghi’s expertise bridges microbiology, soil ecology and bioinformatics, making him a valuable contributor to environmental and ecosystem research.

He earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and his M.S. in Genetics from Southwest University, after completing his B.S. in Bioengineering. He has held research positions at the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University (2015-2016) and has been based at Beibu Gulf University since 2017. His research interests include silkworm domestication and molecular evolution, comparative genomics, population genetic structure, transcriptomics, mitochondrial genomics, omics pipelines, and cancer genomics (TCGA, GEO, miRNA). Dr. Yang has contributed to major national and regional projects, with funding from sources such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the 863 Program, and regional science foundations. He has authored/co-authored high-impact papers in fields such as immunology, aquaculture, molecular evolution, and cancer biology; also holds a patent on a DNA vaccine.
