He is also the President of the Scientific Department of Business and Management at the University of Porto. Proença’s career spans academia and business leadership, with past roles including Rector of Universidade Europeia and Chief Academic Officer for Laureate International Universities in Portugal. He has held several leadership positions, such as Dean of the School of Economics and Management at the University of Porto.
