Dr Phiman Thirarattanasunthon is an Assistant Professor of Public Health at Walailak University (School of Public Health), Thailand, whose education spans a PhD in Public Health from Chulalongkorn University and an MPH in Environmental & Occupational Health from Prince of Songkla University , complemented by a BPH from Mahidol University and a BSc in Environmental Science from Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University. His professional trajectory includes roles from community health officer through district health service and hospital public-health functions, to academic lecturer , Assistant Professor and Head of the Community Public Health Program . His research expertise covers health-system management, health impact assessment, disaster and emergency risk management in public health, and community health assessment and promotion. Recently, Dr Thirarattanasunthon has published peer-reviewed studies on pesticide exposure among farmers, alcohol consumption behaviours among students, and COVID-19 patient experiences. His work has earned him awards including the School of Public Health Excellent Teaching Award (2024) and Outstanding Research Award (2024).
