Omirbayeva Aizhan is a young researcher in Thermal Power Engineering with a strong academic foundation and growing international research profile. She holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master of Technical Sciences degree  in Thermal Power Engineering and is currently pursuing a PhD in the same field at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. Her academic experience includes research, textbook authorship, laboratory guideline development, and student mentorship at the national level. Her primary research interests focus on coal gasification and solar-assisted coal gasification technologies, aiming to improve the efficiency and sustainability of Kazakhstan’s coal resources. She has received competitive research funding under the national  grant program and actively participates in international training programs on green energy and sustainability. Overall, her work demonstrates strong potential for advancing clean energy technologies and contributing to the next generation of sustainable power engineering research.

Jingyuan (Andy) Zhao, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professional Researcher and independent principal investigator at the University of California, Davis, internationally recognized for pioneering work in AI-enabled battery and energy systems. His research integrates multiphysics and multiscale modeling with advanced artificial intelligence to address battery safety, diagnostics, prognostics, and system-level optimization for electrified transportation.  He has led or co-led major U.S. and international research projects supported by USDOT, Caltrans, CEC, CARB, and national science foundations in China, while also translating research into industrial impact through prior leadership roles in electric vehicle battery intelligence. His academic training spans mechanical and vehicle engineering, complemented by extensive postdoctoral research in the U.S. and China. Dr. Zhao has received numerous honors, including Elsevier–Stanford World’s Top 2% Scientist and ScholarGPS Top 0.5% Scholar distinctions. Through interdisciplinary scholarship, global collaboration, and mentorship, his work advances safe, intelligent, and scalable battery energy systems, bridging laboratory innovation with real-world deployment and shaping the future of sustainable mobility.

Dr. Papade Chetan Vijaykumar is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering with over 17 years of combined academic, research, and limited industrial experience, specializing in solar energy systems and thermal sciences. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2024, an M.Tech. in Heat Power Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. His teaching portfolio spans undergraduate and postgraduate courses including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, refrigeration and air conditioning, computational fluid dynamics, renewable energy systems, and advanced solar technologies. Dr. Papade’s research interests encompass solar thermal systems, CFD, nano-mixed phase change materials, energy storage, refrigeration systems, and sustainable energy solutions.  His work has been recognized through multiple Best Faculty and Academic Excellence Awards, along with national-level teaching honors. He has successfully led several funded solar research projects, developed institutional research infrastructure, and holds multiple granted and filed patents in solar and IoT-based energy systems. Overall, Dr. Papade’s career demonstrates sustained contributions to engineering education, applied research, and renewable energy innovation.
