Dr. Sardar Muhammad Usman is an Assistant Professor of Finance & Accounting at COMSATS University Islamabad, with over a decade of academic experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. He holds a PhD in Finance (Enterprise Management) from Zhejiang University, China, an AACSB- and EQUIS-accredited institution, along with an MS in Finance from Umeå University, Sweden, and an MBA and BBA in Finance from the University of Peshawar. His scholarly work appears in leading journals indexed in SSCI and SCOPUS (Q1–Q3), with cumulative journal impact factors exceeding 48. Dr. Usman’s research interests span crowdfunding, fintech, sustainable finance, ESG disclosure, behavioral finance, machine learning applications in finance, and financial market efficiency. He has supervised PhD and MPhil researchers and is an HEC-approved PhD supervisor. His academic service includes editorial board membership, reviewer roles for high-impact journals, curriculum development, accreditation activities, and postgraduate evaluation committees. He has also secured competitive international research grants and completed doctoral and master’s studies under prestigious Chinese and Swedish government scholarships.
