Professor Ghasem Ahangari is a senior academic and research leader in medical biotechnology, molecular immunology, and neuroimmunogenetics, with more than three decades of sustained contributions to translational biomedical science.  He holds academic training in medical technology, hematology, and molecular clinical immunology, with advanced research experience in internationally recognized institutions, including the Karolinska Institute. His professional career includes long-term faculty appointments, departmental leadership, institute directorships, and coordination of national and international scientific programs. His research interests center on complex disorders such as cancer, autoimmune diseases, neuroimmune and psychosomatic conditions, inflammation, neurotransmitter receptor signaling, and molecular diagnostics, with increasing integration of artificial intelligence in medical research. Professor Ahangari has authored numerous high-impact journal articles, books, and patents, supervised graduate researchers, and organized major scientific workshops and symposia.
