Professor Jeong-Eui Yun is a distinguished mechanical engineering scholar recognized for his impactful contributions to automotive engineering, turbomachinery design, thermal-fluid systems, and centrifugal pump optimization. With an impressive research record reflected by an h-index of 4, more than 23 citations, and over 171 published documents, he has established himself as a leading expert in advanced propulsion and energy-efficient machinery. He earned his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Busan National University, his M.Sc. in Mechanical Design from Seoul National University, and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from KAIST. His professional journey includes serving as Professor at Kangwon National University, Vice President of the university, Dean of Academic Affairs, and Visiting Professor at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, along with notable industrial experience as Chief Research Engineer at Daewoo Motor Co. His research interests span variable-geometry turbochargers, centrifugal pump optimization, engine thermal management, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
