Dr. Roberto Miniero is a distinguished toxicologist and environmental health expert with a Doctoral Degree and a Master’s in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. With extensive experience in toxicology, ecotoxicology, and environmental risk assessment, he has led numerous high-impact research projects on persistent chemical substances, including dioxins, PCBs, and mercury compounds, in both national and international contexts, such as the Stockholm Convention implementation in China under the World Bank.  Dr. Miniero has served as Principal Investigator, Scientific Coordinator, and Project Coordinator in multiple prestigious projects funded by MIUR, the Italian Ministry of Environment, and regional authorities, while providing consultancy for the WHO, the World Bank, and various Italian Public Prosecutors’ Offices. His research interests include environmental toxicology, human exposure assessment, ecotoxicology, and sustainable aquaculture practices. With an h-index reflecting his impact in the scientific community, numerous citations, and recognized expertise, he has been nominated for the Best Researcher Award.
